A gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire who falls in love with her, leaving behind unspeakable terror. The exterior shots of Orlok Castle were shot at Hunyad Castle, also known as Corvin Castle, a Romanesque castle in Transylvania and one of the largest surviving medieval castles in Europe. It is also the castle where Vlad Dracula was briefly imprisoned.
